How do I change the group size?

YouTube tutorial: Change the Group Size

How does the group size work?

The group size determines how many members will be introduced with each other. New Catchups are created with a default group size of 2 (pairs).

A Catchup can have a group size between 2 and 8. For example, if a channel has 24 members, then:

  • if the group size is 2, there will be 12 groups with 2 members each.
  • if the group size is 3, there will be 8 groups with 3 members each.
  • if the group size is 4, there will be 6 groups with 4 members each.

If the group size is 2 and a channel has an uneven number of members, then one group will have 3 members. If the group size is 3 - 8 and the member count is not divisible by 3 - 8, there can be groups with less than 3 - 8 members. In all cases, each group will always have at least 2 members in it.
